The MVCC Men's Cross Country Team won the 2016 Mountain Valley Conference Championship last weekend. Alec Ambruso led the Hawks with a second place finish and a time of 22:32 for the 4 mile course. Dakota Corney finished 5th with a time of 23:17 and Austin Cady ran to a 7th place finish in a time of 23:44. All three runners qualified for All-Conference recognition.

The Women's Team finished as conference Runners-Up led by Carolyn Peck's 3rd place finish in a time of 22:31. Chloe Manzari finished 4th in a time of 23:26 and Beverly Gruet ran a time of 23:29 putting her in 6th place in the 5k race. All three runners qualified for the All-Mountain Valley Conference Team.

MVCC will host the NJCAA Region III meet on Saturday, October 29th.
