MVCC hosted the 2016 NJCAA Region III meet at Proctor Park in Utica on October 29th. The Men's Team captured second place in the 5 mile led by Alec Ambruso's 2nd place finish in a time of 30:27. Austin Cady also cracked the top 10 with a time of 32:02 which was good for 9th place overall.

The Women's Team also finished in 2nd place in the NJCAA Region III meet. Leading the way for the Hawks was Carolyn Peck, who finished 5th overall in the 5k with a time of 23:20. Beverly Gruet and Olivia Brink finished 7th and 8th respectively for the Hawks.

Both teams will now compete at the NJCAA National Championships on November 7th at Finger Lakes CC.
