The MVCC Men's Basketball Team won the Annual Anthony Torchia Memorial Classic Tournament held at MVCC on November 2nd and 3rd. The Hawks powered their way past North Country CC in the opening game by a final score of 93-76. Jordanny Cuevas-Marte poured in 27 points and teammate Eddie Mehmetaj chipped in 18 in the victory. The Hawks advanced to the Championship game to face perennial power Monroe CC of Rochester, NY. The Hawks went on to defeat the Tribunes by a final score of 76-72 once again led by the scoring of Cuevas-Marte with 25 points.
