Mohawk Valley Community College will host a Girls Basketball Camp for ages 7-16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 29-Aug. 1 in the Jorgensen Center Field House and Varsity Gymnasium at the College's Utica Campus.
A typical day will include individual skills development, team skills development, five-on-five games, three-on-three games, one-on-one games, shooting competitions, and camp contests. Each camper should bring a lunch and water. The camp director is MVCC Women's Basketball Coach Emily Durr, a basketball star at Notre Dame High School who went on to play NCAA Division I basketball for Iowa State University. Camp staff is made up of current MVCC coaches and players as well as local college and high school coaches.
The cost of the camp is $125. Each camper will receive an MVCC Women's Basketball T-shirt. Supplemental camp insurance is provided for all participants through the registration fee.
