The MVCC Women's Volleyball Team earned their first two victories of the season at the Niagara CCC POD Tournament on September 14th. The Hawks defeated Erie CC by scores of: 25-22, 25-11, 19-25, 18-25, 15-8. Kaylee Barrett led the way with 15 kills and Maryann Lewandrowski tallied 38 assists. The hawks dropped the middle match to Jamestown 25-10, 26-28, 19-25 with Alexa Bukovsky totalling 16 digs. MV bounced back to defeat Niagara CCC by scores of: 25-23, 25-10, 23-25, 22-25, 15-13. Katie Otis led the Hawks attack with 17 kills and 3 aces. Kaylee Barrett had 6 aces and Kassidy Rogers contributed 12 kills and a block.
