#3 Hawks score early and often to move to 7-1!

The #3 ranked Mohawk Valley Men's Basketball team found some offense from all over the court as they beat visiting SUNY Adirondack 120-59 on Wednesday night.  The Hawks scored a very impressive 69 points in the first half to take a 69-31 lead into the locker room.  Mohawk Valley had 12 different players register points in the game including six players score in double figures.  Jonathan Dean and Jason Primus led the way for the Hawks as they both had double-doubles on the evening.  Dean was tied for the team lead in points with 21, and also had 13 rebounds including six on the offensive end.  Primus had a career-high 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds of his own.  Justin Steed and Jordanny Cuevas-Marte continued their hot starts with 21 and 16 points respectively.  The other double-digit scorers for Mohawk Valley were Nazaire Merrit and Jayson Delgado who each made the most of their minutes adding in 14 points apiece.  

The Men's Basketball team will return to the hardwood on Saturday afternoon as they will host Tompkins-Cortland CC who comes in with a record of 3-4 at 3:00pm.
