Mohawk Valley Community College Women’s Basketball player Lyrik’ Jackson has been named an NJCAA Division III second team All-American for the 2019-2020 season.

The sophomore transfer helped lead the Lady Hawks to a 17-7 record and earn the No. 4 seed in the NJCAA Region III Tournament. Jackson was recently named the 2019-2020 Region III Player of the Year. In her only season as a Hawk, Jackson averaged 26.2 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 2.9 steals per game. She is a graduate of the Syracuse Academy of Science and attended Monroe Community College last year before transferring to MVCC. She is pursuing a degree in General Studies.
