The MVCC Men's & Women's Track and Field athletes made a short trip over to Utica college for the Pioneer Open:

On the men's side Victor Rodriguez ran an impressive time & personal best of 7.19 in the 60 meter dash. He finished 4th in the final heat which improved his respective regional ranking to 1st.

Andy Hadasz made the finals and finished 6th in the 60 meter dash. Andy has a person best time of 7.28 seconds placing him second in the region. Andy also ran the 400 meter dash with an impressive time of 52.65 placing 7th out of 39 athletes. Andy's 400 time is Ranked 1st in the region.

Josh Dobransky placed 4th in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 9.18 just shy of his season best of 9.11 josh is currently leading the region in the 60 M Hurdles.

Mike Bennett ran the 1 mile in a time of 4:51.55, after which he then competed in both the 800 meter (2:13.17) and 5000 meter events (16:08.19). Mike's 2020 campaign is off to an outstanding start leading the region in all 3 aforementioned events. In addition to already hitting the National qualification times for the 5000 meter, he Currently ranks 16th Nation-wide.

On the Women's side Lexi Phillips placed 7th at the Open in triple jump with a season's best 31 feet 2.5 inches nearing ever-closer to the national qualification standard of 31 feet 5 inches. Lexi is Currently leading the region in the event.
