MVCC split todays Region III baseball doubleheader with Hudson Valley CC held at Murnane Field. The Hawks dropped the first game 3-1. Colton Davis pitched 6 solid innings for MVCC. Davis scattered 6 hits while allowing 3 earned runs. 

MV bounced back in game two behind ace pitcher Jake Beer. Beer hurled a complete game one hit shutout. Beer struck out 5 against only one walk. Colton Davis and Joe DiMasse each had RBI doubles. Bryant Pena had a two out RBI single in the 6th and Luis Reyes had two hits for the Hawks.
