In game one the Hawks used a total team effort to take the win by a score 7-5. Mike Darrell (pic attached) pitched 6 innings allowing 4 runs on 7 hits with 9 strikeouts. Anthony Mante closed the door in the 7th to earn the save. Offensively the Hawks were led by Kevin DelVecchio, David Breakell and Patrick Linck with two hits a piece. Josh Duval and David Breakell each had two RBI's. 

 

In the second game the Hawks couldn't get anything going offensively and Bergen put the game away with a 7 run fourth inning winning by a score of 13-0. 

 

MVCC will be in action again tomorrow at the Ripken Experience as they square off against Sussex CC (NJ).
