From Myrtle Beach, SC

The MVCC baseball team dropped two games today vs. Division II JUCO Sussex CC. Joe DiMasse had three hits in the first game and David Breakell two in a 7-3 loss for the Hawks. Jake Beer(picture attached) pitched a solid 5 plus innings allowing only three earned runs. 

 

In the second game the Hawks were defeated 6-1 as the Sussex CC pitchers stifled the MV offense and limited the Hawks to 5 scattered hits. 

 

MVCC will finish with their 7th game in four days with a single game against another NJCAA Division II school, Morris CC of New Jersey.
