MVCC baseball swept SUNY Adirondack in today's baseball doubleheader by scores of 5-2 and 8-4. 

 

Colton Davis's two out single, off of Adirondack ace Tyrell Tillman, scored Josh Duval for the go ahead run in the 5th inning of game 1. The Hawks would add 2 more insurance runs in the 6th for the 5-2 victory. Jake Beer pitched a complete game allowing only one earned run. Brothers Brandon and David Breakell each added two hits to aid in the offensive attack. 

 

Joe DiMasse went 4-4 with 5 RBI's to power the Hawks to an 8-4 victory in game two. Brandon Breakell pitched 5 solid innings with 6 strikeouts and Cory Field nailed down the win with two solid innings in relief. Pat Linck stole 3 bags and David Breakell and Kevin DelVecchio each added a pair of hits. The Hawks improve to 7-3 in Region 3 and 10-8 overall.
