Hawks Sweep Broome, 15-4, 5-2
 
MVCC swept todays baseball doubleheader at SUNY Broome winning game one 15-4 (6inn) and taking game two by a score of 5-2. This is their 4th sweep of the season, and the Hawk's are hitting their stride! 
 
Mike Darrel struck out 9 in 5.1 innings to earn the win on the mound in game one. The offensive attack was led by Joe DiMasse. DiMasse had three hits and 6 RBI's including a double. Dave Breakell added two hits for the Hawks.  Colton Davis pitched 6 innings with 8 strikeouts to earn the wi in game two.  Collin Schneider pitched a perfect 7th to get the save. Brandon Breakell homered and singled with two RBI's for the Hawks. After the impressive outing the Hawks now improve to 13-10 overall and 9-5 in Region III.  
 
The Hawks will be back in action on Saturday afternoon as they welcome Broome to Utica to take on the hornets once again for their 3rd and 4th game in 7 days against each other.
