MVCC split todays region III doubleheader with Hudson Valley CC. In game one Jacob Beer pitched a complete game allowing only 3 earned runs. The Hawks battled back from an early 5-0 deficit to take the lead with 4 runs in the 6th inning, 2 on a Josh Duval single. Skye Lustig scored 3 runs, David Breakell and Colton Davis each added a double.  

 

MVCC dropped a hard-fought battle in game two falling by a score of 6-1. Joe DiMasse had two hits in the loss.  

 

MVCC stands at 16-14 overall and 12-10 in Region III. The Hawks will be back in action Thursday, May 4th against HVCC, in a pivotal game in Region 3 play.
