The MVCC Men's Basketball team punched their ticket into the NJCAA National Basketball Tournament in Minnesota following a 94-76 win over Herkimer College on Sunday.

Region III Player of the Year Jordanny Cuevas-Marte poured in 31 points, including six three-pointers, overcame a three-point halftime deficit to guarantee a seat in the big dance.

Jonathan Dean and Justin Steed each added 19 points in the win. 

MVCC Coach Matt St. Croix was named Region III Coach of the Year.  

The Hawks, winners of 16 straight games, will find out their seeding in the National Tourney on Thursday, March 5th.
