Dominic DiMaggio took over the helm as Head Soccer Coach at Mohawk Valley Community College in June 2017. He was named as the MVCC Director of Athletics in October of 2021. Prior to joining the Hawks, DiMaggio was an Assistant Coach at his alma mater Southern New Hampshire University. During his time as an assistant DiMaggio helped guide the Penmen to their 9th straight NCAA Tournament appearance which is the longest active streak among Division II programs. The Penmen's goalkeeper also broke the NCAA Division II record for the longest personal shutout streak during the 2016 campaign. The Penmen found themselves ranked as high as #2 in NCAA Division II soccer during the 2016 season.

As a player, DiMaggio helped guide the Penmen to a 57-6-3 record while he was in goal. DiMaggio was a 1st Team All-American, 2013 National Champion and two year captain. The Penmen won 3 straight Northeast Ten Conference Championships along with going unbeaten for 37 straight matches which is 2nd in NCAA Division II history. DiMaggio was also a three time All-Conference selection, Northeast 10 Championship MVP, Final 4 tournament team, three time All-Region, and was twice named Northeast 10 Championship All Tournament Team. His 26 shutouts ranks second in Southern New Hampshire history and his goals against average in 2013 ranked 2nd in Division II.

Mr. DiMaggio played 2 seasons in the Premier Development League with the Seacoast United Phantoms. During his time with the Phantoms DiMaggio helped guide them to a 20-5-4 record. He was deemed the 2014 goals against champion (.341), led the PDL in shutouts, and helped guide his team to a Northeast Division Championship. DiMaggio was also the director of Goalkeeping for Seacoast United Soccer Club in 2015 and 2016 while serving as an assistant coach for the U 18, U 16, and U 14 USSF Development Academy teams. DiMaggio also ran Goalkeeper training for US National Training Center for the USSF Development Academy in the Northeast Region.

DiMaggio played for Empire United Soccer Academy and also played high school soccer for Rome Free Academy. Dominic received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance and his Master's Degree from Southern New Hampshire University. He is currently pursuing his MBA in Athletic Administration. DiMaggio grew up and currently resides in Rome, NY.
