Mohawk Valley's Mens and Womens Track and Field teams competed in the NJCAA Region 3 Championships this past week. 

The Hawks had a very impressive showing at the event. Women's Track Athlete of the Year Taylor Harvey had a spectacular outing as she won the 800 Meter, 1500 Meter, and 10000 Meter. 

On the men's side, Harvey's performance was mirrored by Men's Track Athlete of the Year, Omar Mohamed, as he too won the 800 Meter, 1500 Meter, and 10000 meter.  

It was a storybook year for the Hawks as they had a clean sweep of Region 3 Men's Coach of the Year, Women's Track Athlete of the Year, as well Mens Tack Athlete of the Year. With all of the excellent performances that have been had and accolades received, there is still more to come for the Hawks.

Mohawk Valley will host nationals May 11th-13th, as Track athletes from across the country will travel to Utica, NY to participate and chase their ultimate goals and a spot in the history books.
