National Cross Country Runner of the Week Zakaria Djouma won his fourth straight race as the MVCC Men's Cross Country team finished 5th at the Cazenovia Wildcat Invitational at Jamesville Beach.

Djouma faced his toughest competition of the year by finishing the 8k race in 26:02 which was 3 seconds faster than Otto Kingstedt from Gallaudet (26:05).

Tyler Beattie finished the race in 29:05, good enough for 18th place.  Alec Ambruso clocked in at 29:46, Kevin Maas at 30:57 and Nick Cecilia rounded out the Hawks scorecard  in 31:18.

Freshman Mike Warchol completed the course in 32:47 with teammate Tyler Unislawski crossing the line in 33:50.

The Hawks will compete in the Hamilton College Invitational on October 10th at 12pm.
