Hawks compete at SUNY Poly Invitational

Hawks compete at SUNY Poly Invitational

In their season opener, our Men's and Women's cross country team competed in the SUNY Poly Invitational.

On the men's side, Omar Mohamed set the pace for the Hawks. With an impressive time of 19:20, Mohamed was able to win the 6K to put the Hawks on the board early. That stellar performance was good enough to pace the MV men, and place 2nd overall among NJCAA schools in the event and 4th among all teams.

On the women's side, Lauren Suppe finished the day off in 3rd place among NJCAA athletes and Caleigh McQueeney 4th, after impressive performances of their own. Coach Cull was proud of his Hawks and noted that "It doesn't get any better than a group of athletes pushing each other like we are. This group will only continue to improve."
