Mohawk Valley cross country traveled to SUNY Cobleskill this afternoon for the second meet of their 2023 campaign. 

The Hawks trip was highlighted by Omar Mohamed's impressive time of 27:13, which gave him the win in the Men's 8k for the second straight event! 

Garrett Bobowski and Ryan Keenan also turned in impressive performances finishing in the top 15 for the all men in the event. That duo, paired with Mohamed's performance, gave Mohawk Valley CC a 1st place finish among all Junior College's competing in the event and a 3rd place overall finish. 

On the Women's side, Lauren Suppe placed 11th and Caleigh McQueeney placed 13th, after running their best overall times of the young season. 

Coach Durrell shared his praise for the Hawks "I couldn't be happier with both our women's and men's cross country teams. Everyday they show how bad they want to be successful and their hard work is beginning to show." 

Both Hawks cross country teams will be back in action next Saturday, September 16th, as they travel to Finger Lakes Community College in their third meet of the season!
