The Mohawk Valley cross country team traveled west to compete at Finger Lakes Community College this past Saturday. 

On the women's side, Lauren Suppe and Caleigh McQueeney turned in great performances once again. Suppe placed 5th overall, while her teammate McQueeney notched a 7th place finish. With these two leading the pack, the Hawk women were able to finish with a 3rd place overall.

On the men's side, for the third straight week Omar Mohamed showed up and performed for the Hawks. Mohamed's impressive season continued as he won the Finger Lakes Bruce Bridgeman Invitational men's 8k with an impressive time of 26:51. His performance propelled MV men to a 2nd place overall finish on Saturday. This was the second year in a row that Omar was able to win at Finger Lakes. 

The Hawks will be back on the track on Saturday afternoon, September 23rd, as they make the short trip to SUNY Poly.
