Game 1:
In a thrilling softball match, Alivia Neff, Mackenzie Emmons, Brianna Grogg, and Faith Hicks all made valuable contributions to help their team secure a hard-fought victory.

On a beautiful day for softball, Mackenzie Emmons, Megan O'Connell, and Brianna Grogg put on a hitting clinic to lead their team to a hard-fought victory. Emmons went 2 for 3 at the plate with 1 RBI, 1 run scored, a double in the 4th inning, and a single in the 1st inning. O'Connell went 1 for 2 with a double in the 4th inning, 1 run scored, and 1 RBI, while Grogg went 1 for 1 with a run scored and 2 walks.
The game started off with a bang as Emmons singled in the 1st inning. Grogg followed that up by drawing a walk and eventually coming around to score on a sacrifice fly. After scoreless innings Emmons and O'Connell came through with clutch hits in the 4th inning to put their team on top.
Emmons' double drove in a run and O'Connell's double brought in another, giving their team a nine-run lead. From there, their pitching and defense held strong, not allowing the opposing team to score any runs. Grogg also played a key role in the victory by drawing two walks, which helped keep the pressure on the opposing pitcher and defense.
Overall, it was a great team effort, but Emmons, O'Connell, and Grogg were the standouts at the plate. Their timely hits, runs scored, and RBIs proved to be the difference in the game. Their team can look forward to more success if they continue to get contributions from their talented trio.
