2017 will mark the final year for the sport of Ice Hockey in the National Junior College Athletic Association. The MVCC Hawks Ice Hockey Team will be competing in the last NJCAA Championship Tournament this weekend at SUNY Broome CC in Binghamton, NY. The Hawks open up play on Friday at 2pm when they take on Dakota College (23-3-1). MVCC will continue tournament play on Saturday against Erie CC (19-4-1) and conclude the tournament with a match up against Hudson Valley CC (12-10-2) at 12:00pm on Sunday.
Jordan Trudeau leads the Hawks in points this season witth 21 whil CJ Buckingaham and Grant Romeo have contributed 19 and 18 points respectively.
