The Men’s Lacrosse Mountain Valley All-Conference team was announced last week, and the Mohawk Valley Men’s Lacrosse team placed four players on the team.

Sophomore attackman Jared Harter, sophomore midfielder/defenseman Jarod Matusiak, and sophomore defenseman George Picente were joined by freshman face-off specialist Chase Benton on the team. Harter led the team in points this season despite missing the last game of the year. Benton, along with being the team’s leading face-off man, led the Hawks in goals this season. Matusiak became a utility player for Mohawk Valley this season, starting the year on defense, and playing midfield and taking face-offs, finished third on the team in points and led the team in caused turnovers. Picente anchored the defense for the Hawks that saw a season low accumulation in penalties this year.
