GAME 1: MVCC 1 | FLCC 4
 
Even though MVCC Hawks collected five hits to FLCC Lakers's two, they still fell 4-1 on Sunday. Carley Robinson, Bella Kleban, Paige Cook, Savannah Kirkby, and Sarah Zuchowski each collected one hit for MVCC Hawks.

MVCC Hawks got on the board in the third inning after an error scored one run.
FLCC Lakers jumped into the lead in the bottom of the sixth when an error scored one run, Emma Johnson singled, scoring one run, and Kaylee Beam induced Jenna Tyczynski to hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored.

Madison Anderson earned the win for FLCC Lakers. The hurler allowed five hits and one run (zero earned) over seven innings, striking out four and walking none. Beam took the loss for MVCC Hawks. The right-handed pitcher went six innings, giving up four runs (two earned) on two hits, striking out nine and walking four.
 
GAME 2: MVCC 4 | FLCC 3
 
MVCC Hawks took Sunday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 4-3 walk-off victory over FLCC Lakers. The game was tied at three in the bottom of the seventh when Abby Jepsen doubled, scoring one run.

FLCC Lakers opened the scoring in the first after one run scored on another play.

Kaylee Beam singled, which helped MVCC Hawks tie the game at one in the bottom of the second.

FLCC Lakers took the lead in the top of the third. Emma Johnson singled, scoring one run, to give FLCC Lakers the upper hand, 2-1.

Kyla Zabek singled to right field, which helped MVCC Hawks tie the game at three in the bottom of the sixth.

Beam earned the win for MVCC Hawks. The starting pitcher surrendered six hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out four and walking five. Madison Anderson took the loss for FLCC Lakers. The right-handed pitcher went six and one-third innings, surrendering four runs on 13 hits, striking out one and walking one.

MVCC Hawks accumulated 13 hits in the game. Zabek, the number nine hitter for MVCC Hawks, led the way with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Jepsen went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead MVCC Hawks in hits. Carley Robinson, Scout Ludwig, and Savannah Kirkby each collected multiple hits for MVCC Hawks. Robinson stole two bases. MVCC Hawks stole three bases in the game. MVCC Hawks were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Sarah Zuchowski made the most plays with four.
 
MVCC Hawks will travel to SUNY Jefferson Cannoneers for their next game on Tuesday.
