MVCC swept todays doubleheader at Columbia Greene CC winning game one 10-1 and game 2 by a score of 16-6.

 

Sean Burdick went the distance on the mound in the first game allowing only three hits with six strikeouts. Genero Clemente, TJ Scholl and Brandon Rauth each had 3 hits and 2 RBI's to lead a balanced offensive attack. 

 

MV scored 6 runs in the first inning of Game two to set the tone in the 16-6 victory. Brandon Rauth and Sean Burdick had two hits a piece with 4 and 3 RBI's respectively. Jason Angotti picks up the win going 4 and a third innings allowing only 2 runs on one hit with 8 strikeouts. MV will meet SUNY Broome CC in a key Region 3 doubleheader Thursday at Accelerate sports. First pitch is 2pm.
