GAME 1: MVCC 1 | GCC 3
Even though MVCC Hawks collected eight hits to Genesee CC's six, they still fell 3-1 on Saturday. Carley Robinson and Kaylee Beam each collected two hits for MVCC Hawks.
Both teams were strong in the circle. Genesee CC pitchers struck out three, while MVCC Hawks sat down 13.
Genesee CC got on the board in the top of the first inning after Shelby Scharfen singled, scoring two runs, and Sloan Jonathan hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.
