Abby Jepsen drove in four runs on two hits to lead MVCC Hawks past SUNY Niagara Thunderwolves 10-1 on Saturday. In the second inning, Jepsen homered to left field, scoring three runs.
SUNY Niagara Thunderwolves were the first to get on the board in the first when Isabella Christopher singled, scoring one run.
Scout Ludwig doubled to center field, which helped MVCC Hawks tie the game at one in the bottom of the first.
MVCC Hawks added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Paige Cook doubled down the left field line, and Carley Robinson singled to center field, each scoring one run.
