
#5 MVCC Women's Soccer Rolls Past Corning, 7-0
Corning, NY — The nationally ranked #5 Mohawk Valley Community College Women's Soccer team continued their dominant start to the season with a commanding 7-0 win over Corning Community College on Saturday.
The Hawks controlled the game from the opening whistle, outshooting Corning 25-3 on goal and showcasing their depth and precision in attack.
Amanda Graziano opened the scoring early in the 7th minute, finishing off a pass from Avery Bolton to give MVCC the early lead. Bolton followed with a pair of goals of her own—one in each half—finishing the match with a hat trick and one assist. Zlata Seho added an unassisted goal in the 31st minute to cap off a dominant first half.
In the second half, the Hawks poured on the pressure with four more goals. Ryan Colton tallied twice and added two assists, while Maggie Plummer and Graziano each contributed assists in a well-rounded offensive performance.
