#9 Mohawk Valley Community College Women's Soccer Dominates Tompkins Cortland CC with 9-0 Victory

In a commanding performance, the #9 ranked Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) women's soccer team delivered a dominant 9-0 win over Tompkins Cortland Community College in their latest matchup.

MVCC set the tone early in the game, exploding for nine goals all within the first half. Amanda Graziano opened the scoring at 2:26 off an assist from Isabella Kleban, and the momentum never slowed from there. Ryan Colton contributed four goals and two assists, with key setups from Avery Bolton and Zoey Brownrigg.

The goals kept coming, with Selene Wellman, Arianna Petrelli, Isabella Kleban, and Maggie Plummer all finding the back of the net before halftime.

On the defensive side, McKenna Coffey stopped the lone shot on goal she faced and securing a clean sheet throughout the match. Meanwhile, Tompkins Cortland goalie JuShawna Crane faced a barrage of 17 shots, conceding 9 goals and recording 8 saves.

MVCC will travel to Genesee Community College on 10/17 for a primetime Region III match up between the #9 Hawks and the #8 Cougars. Kickoff is slated for 6:30PM in Batavia, NY. The Hawks will wrap up the regular season when Hudson Valley Community College will come to the Hawks for a 7pm kickoff at Proctor Stadium.
