Hawks Baseball dropped two games today at Nationally Ranked Hudson Valley CC, in a doubleheader at Bruno Stadium.

The Hawks committed 7 errors in game one in a 21-4 defeat. However, the gritty Hawks competed hard in game two losing by a score of 4-1.

Despite some great momentum and MV loading up the bases in the 5th and 6th innings, they were unable to capitalize.

Austin Stoquert pitched 6 innings allowing only 2 earned runs with 8 strikeouts against the potent HVCC lineup. Kevin Del Vecchio continued his outstanding season at the plate going 5 for 7 on the day with a homerun and a double.  Ben Welch homered in the first game for MVCC.
