
Game One: Narrow Extra-Inning Loss
Despite falling behind 4-0 in the first inning, the Hawks battled back to tie the game, ultimately losing 7-6 in extra innings. Starting pitcher Sean Burdick settled in after the rough start, delivering six innings with three strikeouts. Derek DeFazio's pinch-hit two-RBI single in the fifth gave the Hawks a temporary lead. Ryan Leos and Brandon Rauth each contributed two hits, while Jack Morotti and Leos both doubled. Genero Clemente added a triple in the hard-fought loss.
Game Two: Strong Bounce-Back Victory
The Hawks rebounded impressively in the second game, securing an 8-4 win. Jason Angotti earned the win on the mound, with Lucas Komnick providing a three-inning save. Offensively, Jack Morotti led the charge with three hits and an RBI. Genero Clemente, Brandon Rauth, and Kaname Kanda also recorded multiple hits, contributing to a balanced offensive effort.
