Region 3 Quarterfinals:
The #1 Seed Mohawk Valley Men's Basketball team defeated #9 Seed Tompkins Cortland by a final score of 85-42 on Wednesday evening. Travis Gray led the way with 21 points, Ike Sheppard had a double double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Jordan Drain had 14 points 9 rebounds. The victory notches the 19th straight victory for the surging Hawks, improves their record to 25-2 and most importantly locks Mohawk Valley into the NJCAA Region 3 Final Four this weekend. After securing the #1 overall seed, Mohawk Valley Community College will be hosting both Final Four games on Saturday, as well as the championship game on Sunday.

#3 Seed Fulton Montgomery CC Defeated #6 Seed North Country CC, 87-68

The Final Four:
At 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 25th, #2 Seed Genesee Community College will take on #3 Seed Fulton Montgomery Community College
Following the first semifinal, the #1 Seed Mohawk Valley Hawks will take on Hudson Valley Community College in a game slated for 3:15 PM.
Coach Fuller:
"Right now we are just focused on preparing to be the best version of ourselves when we take the floor on Saturday. We have a group of talented, hardworking, and hungry guys that have a lot left to prove. Obviously Coach Long (Hudson Valley) is someone that I have a ton of respect for and we are expecting a very competitive game against a talented and skilled Hudson Valley group. But in regards to our preperation, and outlook, we have the same focus that we have had coming into every game this season, nothing changes. We are very excited to play, and are looking forward to having the Mohawk Valley Community College family behind us when we step out onto our home floor, on Saturday afternoon."
