#7 Ranked Men's Basketball Wins 5th Straight, 82-54

The Hawks traveled to Cayuga Community College on Sunday afternoon for a battle with the Spartans. 

The first half was a back and forth affair with the Hawks leading 39-32 halftime. 

After a few adjustments, and some increased energy the Hawks were able to create seperation and outscore the Spartans 43-22 in the second half and ultimately win the game 82-54. 

Mohawk Valley had 5 players score in double figures with Alex Barnhill leading the way with a double double of 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jamir Smith put together another impressive performance of 17 points and 6 assists. Khai Pugh contributed his most impressive performance thus far as a Hawk, filling the stat sheet with 14 points, 5 rebounds 6 assists, and no turnovers. Freshman Center Andre Pasha put together his 5th straight double double of 13 points and 10 rebounds, and Jae-shaun Felder had his first double digit scoring output of his Hawks career with 10 points and 6 rebounds for the green and white. 

Javon Smith, Isaiah Earl, and Cam Pownall also turned in high level defensive performances in addition to combining for 19 rebounds in addition some great offensive highlights. 

The Hawks will be back in action on Wednesday evening at home in a tip scheduled for 7:30 PM against Fulton Montgomery.
