
The #2 nationally ranked Mohawk Valley Community College Men's Basketball team continued its high level play with a 76-55 victory over Genesee Community College on Saturday afternoon.
Jalen Bradberry delivered a stellar performance, leading the Hawks with a game-high 30 points. His scoring efforts, combined with a full team effort of high level defense, set the tone early and continued throughout. The Hawks' defense was particularly dominant in the first half, holding the high-powered Cougars' offense to just 19 points.
Andre Pasha showcased his consistency with his second consecutive double-double, contributing 16 points and 10 rebounds. Alex Barnhill also recorded a double-double, adding 10 points and 11 rebounds to the Hawks' balanced attack. Isaiah Earl continued his all-around excellence, filling the stat sheet with 7 points, 9 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 3 assists.
Jamir Smith and Khai Pugh orchestrated the Hawks' offense efficiently, combining for 10 assists with just two turnovers. Smith added 9 points to his playmaking contributions.
The win improves the Hawks' record to 14-0 on the season as they prepare to face 13-2 Adirondack Community College on the road this Wednesday evening.
