Duo of Bechtel/Doing- Win NJCAA Region 3 Doubles Championship

The Hawks competed this past week at the NJCAA Region 3 finals. When the dust settled, the doubles team of Zach Doing and Bryce Bechtel won the doubles portion of the event in dramatic fashion. The dynamic duo notched an impressive score of 1910. Doing shot 289, and 997 for his four games, while his counterpart Bechtel shot 289, and 913. 

In singles, top performances for the Hawks were displayed by Anthony Testa who shot 849, and finished 9th, and Bechtel, who finished 11th with 844. Additional high level performances were on display from Brendan Kelly (18th, 801), and Micah Shahous (18th, 791). 

Bechtel continued his stellar year by making all 3 events, and earning a nod on the All Conference team. The Hawks will prepare for the NJCAA national tournament which will take place in Michigan, and start on February 29th.
