It was another tough loss for the MVCC ice hockey team at the Cheektowaga Recreation Center on Wednesday as the Hawks flew out to face Erie Community College for a 14-1 loss.
Erie CC took an early lead and held a 4-1 edge after the first period. The Hawks were unable to stop the hosts as another four goals were scored in the second period. Erie CC's Brad Ferrell, Bradley Jones, and Edward Shantler each had two goals.
This is the third loss in a row for the Hawks, who fall to 5-12-1.
