The MVCC men's lacrosse team won its second consecutive game of the season on Wednesday as the Hawks clawed their way past Tompkins Cortland Community College to a 9-8 victory on the road.
The Hawks (0-2, 2-5) had this game well in hand with a 5-3 halftime lead. TC3 rallied in the third period with five goals for an 8-7 edge. But the Hawks were determined in the final quarter to tie the contest at the 7:45 mark and then put the game-winning goal away just seconds later.
This victory came on the heels of Sunday's 8-3 victory over Niagara County Community College.
