Hawks shutout by #3 Onondaga

Hawks shutout by #3 Onondaga

The Mohawk Valley Men's Lacrosse team had a tough trip to Onondaga yesterday as the #3 team in the country shut out the Hawks.

The Lazers were aggressive and attacked the Hawks defense countless times in the opening minutes, and carried some early momentum into half time despite the efforts of MV defenders.

Dennis Stark stopped 21 of the 60 shots he faced on the afternoon and the Hawks had a few chances to get on the board but came up short. Onondaga continues to be one of the most competitive teams in the country and has scored 80 goals over the past 3 teams, and only gave up a total of 14 over that span.

The team will wrap up their season next Wednesday, April 19th, as they host Finger Lakes CC at D'Allesandro Stadium at 6:00pm.  The Hawks are looking to close out the season with a win as both teams are both in search of their first win.
