The men's lacrosse team was shutout by the #5 Genesee Cougars on Saturday 33-0. Genesee scored early and often and the Hawks suffered a couple injuries early on that made it difficult to try and put anything together offensively. The Hawks struggled at the face-off X and Genesee dominated time of possession throughout the game. Sophomore goalie Ryan Quinn stopped 17 of the 50 shots that he faced.
"It was tough out there said Coach Evanoff. Their face-off guys were two of the best we have seen this season, and they won almost every single one. We had a couple good chances on offense, but just couldn't put the ball in the net. We will spend the weekend trying to get healthy so that we are ready for both games this coming week."
The Hawks will host Hudson Valley on Tuesday evening at 7:00pm and then turnaround quick to host #4 Onondaga at 6:00pm on Wednesday. Both games will be live streamed via Hudl.
