The No. 9 nationally ranked MVCC Men's Soccer team defeated the Hudson Valley Community College Vikings by a score of 3-1. Alieu Barre would find Jhonny Theze who blasted home the shot from 25 yards out to put the Hawks up 1-0. The Vikings would respond on a first-time finish from a cross to tie the game up 1-1. Alessio Arici would put the Hawks up again when Alvaro Tejedor served a free kick that Arici got on the end of to put the Hawks up 2-1. Lucas Beja would get the 3rd tally of the game when Mario D'Elia combined with Beja for the give-and-go and Beja slotted home the opportunity. Hawks goalkeeper Jamie Toft would finish the game with 1 save for his 8th win of the season.  

The #9 Hawks return to action on Wednesday October 12th when they take on cross-town rival #2 Herkimer College for a 7:00PM kickoff at D'Alesandro Stadium in Utica, NY.
