The Mohawk Valley Community College Men's Soccer team took on the Herkimer Generals on Wednesday evening. The game finished in a 0-0 tie after 110 minutes of play. Hawks goalkeeper Jamie Toft would finish the game with 5 saves while Generals goalkeeper Cathal Carey would also finish the game with 5 saves.

"Tonight was a battle. I thought we did well slowing them down and worked well as a group. We could've been a bit cleaner in bigger moments of the game but I'm happy with the guys' effort. I thought Herkimer had a bit more grit and did a better job winning second balls. It was a good opportunity for us to see where we still need to improve as a group."

The Hawks return to action for their last regular season of the game on Wednesday when they travel to Saranac Lake to take on North Country Community College for a 3:00PM kickoff.
