The Mohawk Valley Men's Soccer team traveled to Jamestown Community College on Saturday 9/16. The scoring began when Jesus Sanchez pressured a Jamestown defender, won the ball which lead to a breakaway attempt. Sanchez slotted the ball past the Jamestown goalkeeper to put the Hawks up 1-0. The Hawks got their second tally of the game when Alieu Barre played a ball to Gustavo Nunes who blasted home the attempt to give the Hawks a 2-0 lead. Alieu Barre would find Gustavo Nunes who flicked a ball onto Lucas Beja who then slotted the opportunity past the Jamestown goalkeeper to put the Hawks up 3-0. Beja would next find Gustavo Paz Koch on a through ball. Paz Koch would then dribble the Jamestown goalkeeper to slot home the opportunity to give the Hawks a 4-0 lead. Beja would earn his second goal of the game after Fasaikou Jammeh beat a couple defenders who slipped Beja in behind for the 5th goal of the game.

Breno Guimaraes would earn his second shutout of the season. The Hawks return to action on Saturday 9/16 when they head to Jefferson Community College for a 3:00pm kickoff.
