The MVCC Men's Soccer team took on Jamestown Community College on Saturday evening. The Hawks first got on the board when Lucas Lacerda played to Gustavo Nunes who finished the opportunity to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead. The Hawks would strike again when Santiago Molina would receive a pass from Gustavo Nunes, beat a Jayhawk defender, and slot the ball home to give the Hawks a 2-0 lead heading into halftime.

The Hawks would find their third goal of the game when Santiago Molina would find Gustavo Nunes who blasted home the shot to give the Hawks a 3 goal lead. Leo Eldson finished the game out in goal for the Hawks to give him his first win of the season.

The Hawks return to action on October 2nd, when they travel to Saranac Lake to take on North Country Community College.
