The MVCC Men's Soccer team traveled to Troy, NY to take on Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks first got on the board when Gustavo Nunes would find Santiago Molina who blasted home the first time finish to give the Hawks a 1-0 lead. Just a few minutes later, Davi Moretzsohn would find Gustavo Nunes who finished the breakaway to give the Hawks a 2-0 lead. Molina would strike again when Victor Paganini would play a ball over the top that Molina settled and slotted past the Vikings' goalkeeper to give the Hawks a 3-0 lead. Javier Montesions Da Torre would find a cross from Davi Moretzsohn and blast home the first time attempt to put the Hawks up 4-0. Montesions Da Torre would find his second tally of the game when Santiago Molina would play a pass in the box that Da Torre would slot past the Viking goalkeeper. Hawks' goalkeeper Jaime Mata would finish the game with a shutout. The Hawks have shutout their last 3 opponents.
