
The MVCC Men's Soccer team had 7 individuals named to the NJCAA Region III All-Region teams.
Santiago Molina Villafane and David Perez Salgado both earned 1st team All-Region. Molina leads the Hawks this year with 26 goals, 13 assists, for 65 points. He ranks 2nd in the nation for goals and points. Perez has been an anchor this year for the Hawks defense and has also contributed 3 goals on the season.
Gustavo Nunes and Davi Pena Moretzsohn both earned 2nd team All-Region. Nunes has netted 17 goals this season and dished out 11 assists. His 17 goals ranks 10th in the nation, and his 45 points are 9th in the nation. Moretzsohn has started every game for the Hawks in the midfield and has tallied 2 goals and 13 assists. His 13 assists ranks 8th in the nation.
Souayibou Diop, Tony Gjomemo, and David Kamara all earned 3rd team All-Region honors. Diop has been a pivotal player in the midfield for the Hawks and has recorded 2 goals and 5 assists on the season. Gjomemo and Kamara have both been important pieces to the Hawks defense throughout the season.
