The Mohawk Valley Community College men's indoor track and field team competed at the Region III championships held at Rochester Institute of Technology on Saturday, February 21. This meet was held among the Orange and Brown Invitational which featured dozens of four-year colleges.
Jamal Temple led the Hawks by winning the 60-meter sprint in 7.16 seconds while Brain Payne won the 500-meter run in 1:08.10. Also taking home the victory was Justin Shaver in the 35-pound weight throw with a distance of 15.6 meters.
Rajiv McSwine took gold in the shot put with a top throw of 13.94 meters as Aaron Davis won the pole vault with a height of 3.75 meters. Hakem Stewart won the long jump and Stephen Paddock took first place in the 5000-meter run.
The places listed below are the overall finish which included dozens of four-year colleges.
