
Game #1:
Sophomore pitcher Alivia Neff took the win with an impressive 13 strikeouts. She walked 5 but only allowed 2 total hits in the outing. She was electric at the plate as well going 2/4 with 1 RBI. Freshman Breanna Grogg went 2/4 with a double, 1 run, and an RBI. Furthermore, fellow Freshman Faith Nicks went 1/3 and had 1 run of her own.

The Hawks earned a 3-2 victory in the first game of the afternoon.
Game #2:
In game 2 of the day, Freshman pitcher Kendall Darling took the mound, and struck out 6 and only allowed 4 hits for the game. Offensively, she went 1/3 with a double and a run at the plate. Freshman second baseman Mackenzie Emmons let her presense be felt with a powerful grand slam in the 4th inning to give the Hawks some much needed breathing room.
In addition to Emmons big time game, Breanna Grogg and Alivia Neff scored 2 more runs in the 5th inning making it a 6-0 game, with Grogg going 1/4 with a run and Neff going 2/4 with 1 run and 1 RBI.
