Game 1: MVCC 9, ECC 1 (5 inn)

 

Hawks win 9-1 with Angelina Hays in the circle only allowing 2 hits. Faith Hicks went 3-4 at the plate, Carly Robinson went 2-3, Jenna Riesel went 2-3, and many other Hawks were hot offensively to help secure the win. 

 

Game 2: MVCC 6, ECC 5 (7 inn)

 

Hawks win with a walk off 6-5. The Kats were up 5-3 in the bottom of the 7th. Lani Roberts led off the inning with a walk. Joely Welpe steps up to the plate next and rocks a 2-run homerun to tie the game. Sarah Zuchowski hit a single following the homerun by Welpe. Ashley Fevang ripped a triple to the left field fence to give the Hawks the win. 

 

Hawks take on Niagara County Community College Sunday at 1 and 3pm.
