GAME 1 MVCC: 9 | SUNY Adirondack: 5
MVCC Hawks defeated SUNY Adirondack game 1 with a score of 9-5 on Thursday at Accelerate Sports Complex. SUNY Adirondack got on the board in the top of the second inning after Marissa Jarvis doubled to center field, and Maddie Pincheon singled to right field, each scoring one run. MVCC Hawks took the lead, 3-2, in the bottom of the second thanks to singles by Scout Ludwig, Kaylee Beam, and Sarah Zuchowski. Sam Manning singled to center field, which helped SUNY Adirondack tie the game at three in the top of the third. MVCC Hawks jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning after Zuchowski grounded out, and Carley Robinson grounded into a double play, each scoring one run.
MVCC Hawks scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth on a home run to left field by Lani Roberts.

MVCC Hawks took Thursday's game 2 in dramatic fashion, with a 7-6 walk-off victory over SUNY Adirondack at Accelerate Sports Complex. The game was tied at six in the bottom of the eighth when Abby Jepsen drew a walk, scoring one run. Jepsen drove in four runners in the win. The right-handed hitter went 4-4 on the day. SUNY Adirondack were the first to get on the board in the first when Emma Martens singled, scoring two runs. Jepsen homered to left field, which helped MVCC Hawks tie the game at two in the bottom of the first.
